Director of Marketing
Patricia Meacham is the Director of Marketing for theBLOQparq (tBp). She oversees marketing including, the website, advertising, public relations, community affairs, social media, and the overall campaign budget.
Patricia is an executive marketing leader with a consistent record of building revenue and market share while improving customer satisfaction and reducing costs. She held several executive VP positions with IBM; before starting her own business.
As an IBM VP, Patricia developed the market strategy to launch a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) joint venture with AT&T, which generated $700M revenue in the first year, with a forecasted 20% Y-o-Y growth rate.
Within IBM Sales & Distribution, she reorganized IBM’s support for 95,000 global Business Partners. IBM had over-invested in market development funds provided to Business Partners across 13 product brands. Patricia led the integration and simplification of partner marketing under one organization which she managed. She led a global marketing team creating go-to-market plans, advertising initiatives, lead generation programs, and an e-commerce portal. She reduced market development funds by 35%, attained the #1 position in the industry for business partner satisfaction while managing a $3B business unit.
As Director of Software Marketing, Patricia developed IBM’s ISV marketing strategy to drive explosive revenue growth. She identified a significant business opportunity with Independent Software Developers (ISVs). She launched a new web-based support portal; 15 global technical and marketing centers; led Java World Tour to reach 10K developers. Available applications on IBM technology grew from 30 to over 10,000. Revenue climbed to $950M in three years.
Patricia’s true passion is working with businesses to create strategies for rapid and sustainable growth. She left IBM in 2005 and started her consulting firm, MARC IT SHARE. She has provided consulting services to such companies as Hitachi Data Systems, Hewlett Packard, and Mitel Corp.
She is energetic, creative, and a problem solver. Patricia aligns strategies, people, and processes to achieve optimal business results. Patricia received a Bachelor of Science degree from Central State University. Completed IBM-sponsored graduate-level Marketing coursework at Harvard, Oxford, and Indiana University. She is also a certified Leadership and Process Coach.
